As reported by Transfermarketweb.com, Liverpool are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Julian Draxler during this summer’s transfer window.
What’s the story?
While the Reds are undoubtedly showing improvement under Jurgen Klopp as he continues to make additions to his squad, they will likely be busy in the transfer market again this summer, looking to build a side worthy of competing for the English Premier League trophy.
One player they’re looking at is Julian Draxler, according to Transfermarketweb.com.
The outlet reckon that the German international is tempted to leave Paris because he isn’t seen as a key player at his current club, with Klopp making him more and more of a main target.
Rated by Transfermarkt at £36m, is he the player Liverpool should be targeting this summer?

Is he an upgrade?
Give the form of Liverpool’s attacking front three this season, there’s little scope for him being first choice on either flank in Klopp’s starting eleven.
This season he’s been deployed more centrally for Paris Saint-Germain, but even in those positions Liverpool are arguably looking for a more defensive minded player to complement the attacking midfield talent already at the club.
With four goals and nine assists this season, he is contributing to the French outfit despite limited starts.
He would provide quality and depth to the squad at Anfield but with Liverpool needing to divert resources to other areas of the team, he might not be the smartest of buys when the transfer window opens.
