Celtic’s excellent start to 2018 continued on Tuesday night as they put together a dominant performance against Hearts at home in the Scottish Premiership.
The 3-1 victory means Celtic are now 14 points clear of both Rangers and Aberdeen, having played one more game than the chasing duo.
The star of the show was undoubtedly Moussa Dembele, who was in imperious form in the first half, perhaps a sign that he is just as committed to Celtic as ever after a long month of transfer speculation.
He provided assists for Odsonne Edouard and Dedryck Boyata before knocking one in himself from a Kieran Tierney cross, scoring his ninth goal of the season.
Brendan Rodgers remains confident of keeping him at the club on deadline day which will be a huge boost to Celtic’s chances of winning another domestic treble in the second half of the season.
Fans took to Twitter to pay tribute to his performance on Tuesday night…
