Tottenham fans are desperate to sign Marcelo Brozovic, after reports in his home country claimed the Tottenham target wants to leave Inter Milan.
According to Jutarnji List, Tottenham did make a €40m (£36m) bid for Brozovic, but have yet to meet his €50m (£45m) release clause.
The report also says the player now wants to leave the San Siro, which could perhaps bring the two clubs closer together on a valuation.
It looks like the North Londoners could miss out on top target Jack Grealish, but Brozovic is more than a handy alternative.

The 25 year-old starred as a central midfielder in Croatia’s incredible World Cup run, and can also operate slightly further forward.
He has scored 13 Serie A goals in over 100 league appearances for Inter, and his energy and versatility could be a great fit with Pochettino.
Fans have been raging after Sky Sports claimed the Grealish deal is dead, and they’re practically begging the club to cough up the extra £9m for Brozovic.
